Welcome to the heart of DOCEO VELO, where a vibrant team of dedicated coaches come together to make a lasting impact on the clients we serve. Our team is a dynamic blend of passion, experience, knowledge and steadfast dedication.
DOCEO VELO is owned and operated by Michelle Paiement, a coach who, for 15 years, has helped cyclists of all levels achieve their goals–from preparing for cycling trips and charity rides to winning Provincial titles. Michelle is a former Elite racer, a two-time Masters National Road Race Champion. Her passion for the sport is reflected in her desire to share knowledge of technique, physiology, nutrition and current training regimes.
As a physics teacher and lifelong endurance athlete, I've always been interested in the science of training. This, combined with great coaching and a love for cycling, has allowed me to explore many facets of the sport on roads, gravel, and mountain bike trails. I’ve competed in road races, large ultra-distance gravel, and MTB events, but my favourite experiences are always local group rides.

Nick came to cycling later in life after a childhood filled with competitive soccer, basketball, football, tennis, and sailboat racing. He began cycling regularly in 2009 and started racing in 2013. A certified Spinning instructor, Nick has coached power-based cycling at multiple West Island facilities, including DOCEO Velo. Nick competes as a Masters Racer with VCOM, a West Island-based Masters Cycling Team, and manages the Montreal Time Trial Association. A strong advocate of power-based training, Nick credits it with significantly improving his cadence, FTP, and overall enjoyment of cycling.
